About The Grass Man Outdoor Specialists

Each April the lawns around McClellan Park shift into high gear, fed by the last valley rains and warm afternoons that stretch a little later every week. The Grass Man Outdoor Specialists is named for what it cares about most: grass, kept thick and green and cut at the right height. Mowing, edging, trimming and turf upkeep fill the calendar while the cottonwoods along Magpie Creek let loose their drifting fluff under a hazy spring sky. Then the long dry season arrives, and keeping a lawn alive under the Sacramento sun takes attention as much as horsepower. A Grass Man yard shows it in July: a carpet of even green, crisp at the borders, holding its color against the heat.
