About Murphy's Turf

June in Martinez means bocce under the lights and lawns that need cutting twice as often as anyone planned for. Murphy's Turf is a lawn outfit in the true sense: mowing, edging, feeding, weed control, and enough trimming to keep the shrubs off the pathways. Turf in a dry-summer town is an ongoing negotiation with the sprinklers, and it rewards whoever shows up weekly. This crew shows up weekly. There is a particular pride in a yard where the grass runs all the way to the edge and then stops in one straight line.
