Palmer Excavating

About Palmer Excavating

Martell grew up around a sawmill, and the land here still carries the memory of heavy work — flats graded for log decks, hillsides cut through for logging roads. Palmer Excavating speaks that language of moving earth, now put to work on yards and open ground in this corner of Amador County. Under a hard July sun, with foothill grass crackling underfoot, it is the season to cut, level and clear so a lawn or garden has somewhere solid to start. Uneven patches are smoothed, scrub is pushed back from the places people actually use, and driveway margins are shaped clean. The payoff is ground that sits right: level where you walk, and sloped where the winter rains need somewhere to go.
