About Peak Excavating Inc

Mariposa is built on stubborn ground — granite knuckles push up through the soil, and the red clay sheds rain in sheets rather than drinking it in. Peak Excavating Inc works that ground with heavy equipment, and its lawn care starts where most yards truly begin: with the earth underneath. September is the season for it, dry and golden, when lots can be cleared, rough patches leveled and slopes shaped before the first storms come in over the foothills. There is real satisfaction in a slope that finally drains where it should, and in a flat, square patch of yard sitting where boulders and scrub used to argue. Along Highway 140, where the hills fold down toward the canyon, groundwork like this is what every green thing rests on.
