McGrady & Sons

About McGrady & Sons

March in Mariposa arrives loud with green: winter rain has soaked the red earth, redbud flares magenta along the draws, and lawns that idled through the cold suddenly want cutting every week. McGrady & Sons answers that rush with mower, string trimmer and edger, working yard by yard while the old courthouse clock on Bullion Street counts out the morning. A finished McGrady lawn has even stripes, a sharp line along the front walk and clippings blown clear of the drive, so the whole place reads as cared-for from the street. As the dry months turn the surrounding foothills gold, those yards keep getting trimmed and tidied, holding their shape against the heat. It is hands-on lawn care for a town that still feels built one front porch at a time.
