R's Tree Care

About R's Tree Care

The hour worth waiting for in Manteca comes late, when the delta breeze finally slides in from the west and the heat lifts off the streets and the almond rows at the town's edge. R's Tree Care works toward that hour, trimming and pruning through the morning so a yard's shade lands where the family actually sits, thinning crowns dense enough to catch wind, clearing branches off a garage roof. Trees that have died back or crowded a foundation are removed in careful sections, with the ground left raked clean. Winter here belongs to fog and to storms that arrive in bursts, and the cleanup afterward is the plain necessary work of getting a driveway and a sidewalk back. It is a good feeling to drive past a job a week later and find the tree looking as though it was always meant to stand that way.
