About Terroir Malibu

Terroir is a word for what the ground itself contributes, and in Malibu the ground contributes plenty — decomposed granite slopes, ocean fog drip, autumn Santa Anas that rake down the canyons hot and dry. Terroir Malibu takes lawn care as a conversation with that soil rather than an argument with it. The work is mowing, feeding, and tending turf and gardens so they express the place they grow in, from ridge properties that watch the weather arrive to lots tucked low where the fog lingers past noon. Every yard here sits on its own microclimate, and reading it correctly is most of the job. The rest is showing up and cutting a clean line.
