About Leatherbury Landscaping

Magalia was Dogtown once, a gold camp strung along a wagon road on the narrow shelf between two canyons, and that road is still the spine of the place. Leatherbury Landscaping works the yards off it — mowing, edging, trimming, seasonal cleanups — through an autumn that arrives as slow color in the dogwood and a steady rain of needles onto every lawn. There is craft in the choices: which shaded patch wants a higher cut, how to keep the boundary between grass and forest floor deliberate rather than accidental. A finished yard here has clean lines and no loose litter, and the house behind it looks settled on its ground. House after house, that is the whole reward.
