Chase’s Lawn Care

About Chase’s Lawn Care

In April the wild dogwoods open along the shaded draws above Magalia, white as spilled paint under the canopy, and the grass finally wants cutting again. Chase's Lawn Care starts the season right there — mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and driveways, carrying the clippings off. It is regular, unhurried work: the same yards, week after week, kept even so nothing gets ahead of anybody. Magalia lawns are small hard-won clearings in a forest that would rather have them back, and there is genuine pleasure in handing one over crisp at the edges. Rain or heat, the route runs out from the Skyway through the pines and home again.
