About C&D Land Care LLC.

On the coldest mornings the valley below Magalia disappears under a lid of fog, and the pine country up here stands in clean sunlight while Chico stays gray. C&D Land Care LLC. is out in that light, mowing, edging and trimming yards along the ridge roads and clearing away the winter's fallen litter so the lawns come back even in spring. Land care at this elevation means working around ponderosas and black oaks, keeping grass tidy where it grows and ground clear where it does not. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass of the mower, the line where cut meets uncut going straight as a fence rail. By the time the fog burns off the valley the yard is finished and the day still has plenty left in it.
