Angel Garden and Tree Service

About Angel Garden and Tree Service

Madera took its name from wood, the timber that came down out of the Sierra to a mill town on the valley floor, and trees are still what soften this place between the Fresno River and the vineyard rows. Angel Garden and Tree Service works that inheritance through trimming and pruning: shaping the mulberries and ash that shade the older streets, opening a heavy fruit tree so light reaches the middle, cutting back what has crowded a roofline. Removals go piece by piece when a trunk has gone hollow or the roots have lifted more walkway than can be patched. Valley summers run long and past a hundred, and a well-kept canopy does more for a house than any fan. After a storm the split limbs and scattered wood go out with the crew, and the yard reads whole again.
