About Salinas Landscaping & Tree Preservation Inc.

Some Los Angeles trees are older than the streets they shade — a coral tree leaning out over a curb, a magnolia grown wider than the house behind it. Salinas Landscaping & Tree Preservation Inc. works to keep those trees standing: careful pruning, structural cuts, root-zone and soil care, and the landscape maintenance that surrounds them. Preservation is slower than removal and asks for a longer view — take less, take it in the right place, and let the tree do the rest over the coming decade. The grounds get the same patience, beds and lawns kept in a condition that supports what is growing above them. A block keeps its character mostly through its canopy, and that canopy is worth the trouble.
