About Rosewood Tree & Landscape

The old oaks and sycamores of Los Angeles predate most of the streets that curve around them, and they keep their own calendar. Rosewood Tree & Landscape handles the trimming, shaping, deadwood removal and landscape upkeep those trees and the ground beneath them need, with late winter — before the new push of growth — the right window for the heaviest cuts. A tree pruned with an eye for its natural form does not look pruned at all; it just looks like itself, only lighter, with more sky moving through the canopy. The landscape work follows the same idea: beds shaped to the house, growth kept in scale, roots given room in the soil. In a city built underneath its trees, holding that balance is the entire job.
