Romero's Gardening Service

About Romero's Gardening Service

Los Angeles wakes under a gray lid and burns through to gold by ten, and the mowers are running well before that turn. Romero's Gardening Service does the mowing, edging, hedge trimming and cleanup that keep a block looking cared for in a city whose growing season never fully closes. Come June the jacarandas let go all at once and the same lawn has to be cut, blown and put right twice as often — that is simply the work, and it gets done. There is real satisfaction in a strip of grass squared off to the sidewalk, the clippings gone, the driveway swept, the whole yard breathing again. Los Angeles yards ask for attention twelve months a year, and this is the kind of attention they get.
