About Javis Lawn and Garden

On a July evening in Reseda the sprinklers come on all down the block at once and the Chatsworth ridge goes dark blue behind the rooftops. Javis Lawn and Garden times the west Valley summer around that water, cutting a touch higher so the turf can hold on and shade its own roots through a hundred-degree week. The yards out here are square and roomy, with room to mow properly and a long fence line to trim. Edging keeps the lawn from creeping over the drive; the cleanup keeps the dry stuff off the beds. Come back after dark and the grass is cool underfoot, cut level, holding the day's heat and letting it go.
