About Golden Crest Landscaping

The day after a winter storm, the ridge at Baldwin Hills gives back the whole basin, ocean to mountains, scrubbed and improbably sharp. Golden Crest Landscaping heads out into that rinsed air while the ground is soft and the grass has just shot up an inch overnight. Lawns on these slopes run in tiers behind low walls, so the mowing is done in bands and the edging follows each wall's top like a drawn rule. Winter growth means weekly cuts, spring means the same plus a full clearing of everything the rains washed down. Standing on a finished lawn up here, with the view running out to the water, the tidy green rectangle underfoot feels like part of the view.
