About Garcia Landscaping & Design

Boyle Heights keeps its bluff above the river, and the viaduct's white arches throw long shadows across the flats every evening. Garcia Landscaping & Design works the yards up on that rise, where lots are narrow, sun is unfiltered and a lawn earns its keep by being tidy. Mowing here is a matter of tight passes and careful corners; the edging runs the length of the sidewalk until turf and concrete meet in one clean line. Beds get cleared, borders get defined, and the accumulated business of a busy street gets swept off the walk. Come back at dusk and the front yard looks composed, a small deliberate green room facing an enormous city.
