About Double Green Landscape

June mornings on the Westside come in gray and stay that way — the marine layer sitting low over Palms and Mar Vista, the light flat and even, everything faintly damp along Ballona Creek. Double Green Landscape likes that hour for mowing: cool air, soft ground, grass standing up straight and cutting clean. Edges are run along the driveways of those tight bungalow blocks, the trimmer taken around the fence posts and the citrus trees, the parkway squared off. Cuttings are gathered and gone before the sky finally opens around noon. When the sun does break through, it lands on a yard that is already done for the week.
