About Crestwood Tree Services

Culver City goes purple for a few weeks every spring, jacarandas blooming over the streets from Ballona Creek up toward the Baldwin Hills, and once the petals come down the pruning season really begins. Crestwood Tree Services works those blocks, trimming jacaranda, ficus and magnolia back off the rooflines, pruning for structure so a canopy stays a canopy, removing the tree that has lifted the walk and outgrown its narrow parkway. When a Santa Ana slides down off the hills at night and leaves branches across the parked cars, the crew clears them and sweeps the gutter line clean. Small westside lots reward precision: rigged, lowered, cut down and gone before the afternoon traffic builds. A block that keeps its shade is worth every hour on the ladder.
