Antoni's Landscaping

About Antoni's Landscaping

Koreatown hides its green: courtyard apartments off Wilshire, a square of lawn behind wrought iron, a strip of grass no wider than a hallway between two 1920s buildings. Antoni's Landscaping treats those small spaces seriously, mowing them even, edging them tight, trimming the hedges that screen a courtyard from six lanes of traffic. Work often runs toward dusk, when the boulevard signs come on and the palms go to silhouette above the rooflines. What's left behind is a pocket of order in one of the densest parts of the city — cut, swept, clear. On a block this busy, a tidy yard is a place to breathe.
