Angel's Lawn & Tree Service

About Angel's Lawn & Tree Service

The sycamores along the Arroyo Seco turn late and drop all at once, and for a few weeks Highland Park's yards fill with big brittle leaves the size of a hand. Angel's Lawn & Tree Service moves through that season with rake and mower, clearing lawns below the Debs Park ridge and cutting the grass back to a clean, level nap. Mornings up here start cool in the canyon shade before the sun clears the hill and warms the old porches on the hillside streets. Hedges get trimmed square, the parkway edged, every load of debris carried out so the yard is left plainly, satisfyingly bare and tidy. Then the leaves come down again, and so does the truck.
