Walterman Lawn & Garden

About Walterman Lawn & Garden

Winter mornings the fog sits low in the Loomis basin and then lifts all at once, and the wet grass goes silver before it goes green. Walterman Lawn & Garden works both halves of the name: the lawn kept mown and edged, the garden kept honest with weeding, pruning and plants set in while the ground is soft enough to welcome them. Cleanups come around with the calendar, hauling off whatever the oaks and the wind have left behind. Nothing here is hurried — a garden pays back the person who comes again next week. A yard tended steadily in Loomis reads as calm, and calm is the point.
