Root & Branch Landscapes

About Root & Branch Landscapes

East of town the old Hellman ground still holds its wetland shape, and after a winter storm the whole basin turns the deep green that Southern California only permits for a few weeks a year. Root & Branch Landscapes works to that timing — cutting hard through the growth spurt, edging the walkways, clearing the yard of storm litter, then easing into the long dry stretch that follows. A lawn tended through the wet months is the one still looking like something in August. The work is mowing, trimming and cleanup, done in that order, week after week, and the ground repays it.
