About Castillo Landscaping

Los Cerritos keeps some of the oldest shade in Long Beach, and the day after a winter storm those big canopies drip on the grass long past the last cloud. Castillo Landscaping walks in while it is still soft, mowing once the turf can take a wheel, then edging the walks and pulling the weeds that always arrive with the rain. Shade lawns need a different hand than sunny ones — a higher cut, less traffic, patience with the thin spots under the trees. Fallen limbs and leaf litter are gathered and taken away rather than raked into a corner. By afternoon the yard has dried out and looks like the storm never happened.
