About Property Care Group

Morning in Lompoc arrives as fog first — the marine layer pushing up the valley from Surf Beach, laying a cool grey ceiling over the fields until the sun burns a hole through it around ten. That is the hour Property Care Group likes best for mowing: grass still heavy with damp, blades cutting clean, the smell of a fresh-cut lawn rising with the last of the mist. The work goes block by block, edging along walks until the line between concrete and green is one sharp seam. Then the string trimmer around fence posts and mailbox stands, the clippings blown off the driveway, the yard waste gathered and hauled — the small finishing moves that make a lawn look deliberate. By afternoon, when the valley has gone bright and dry, the job is behind them and the street looks a little better tended than it did at dawn.
