About American Arbor Care

Late May turns Lomita's side streets violet, when the jacarandas let go all at once and every lawn wears a purple drift by Friday. American Arbor Care works underneath all that color — mowing the grass, trimming shrubs and low limbs back off the roofline, raking the fallen blossom out before it mats down and yellows the turf. Shade is the whole argument for a canopy here, and a lawn kept open and fed underneath it is how the two live together. Come back a day later and the yard is legible again: grass even, beds clear, the sidewalk swept end to end. Small towns are made of houses that look looked-after, one at a time.
