About Soul to Soil Landscaping Inc.

Spring in San Joaquin County comes up out of the ground before it shows in the sky — the valley oaks at Micke Grove leafing out, the vineyard rows breaking bud, everything hungry at once. Soul to Soil Landscaping Inc. reads a lawn from the dirt up, watching how the Lodi loam holds water and where a yard runs thin under an old shade tree. From there it's ordinary, patient work: mowing at the right height for the season, edging clean, trimming close where the mower can't reach, hauling off the clippings and winter's leftovers. A lawn kept this way thickens in on itself until it feels like one green piece rather than a patchwork. There is real satisfaction in that first warm evening when the grass is cut, the beds are crisp, and a family sits out on it because it finally invites them to.
