About Greens gardening

Small planes take off from the Livermore airport all through the middle of the day, and from a few hundred feet the town is a grid of pale roofs stitched together by green — every one of those green patches somebody's ongoing project. Greens gardening handles that upkeep at ground level: mowing lawns to a consistent height, trimming what the mower cannot get near, and blowing the walks so the finished yard has a definite edge. Livermore's afternoons run hot for much of the year, which is why the schedule is early and the passes are unhurried. Regular visits beat occasional big efforts every time. Cut, trim, clear, gone — and the yard holds until the next one.
