About Rivas Landscaping

Lincoln spends July at a hundred degrees, and then around six the delta breeze finally works its way up the valley and the whole town steps back outside. Rivas Landscaping takes the hours on either side of that heat — mowing, edging, trimming, weeding beds and clearing the yard waste — along the curving streets of Sun City Lincoln Hills and the older blocks nearer downtown. Out west the rice checks flood and flash silver, and the light coming off them at dusk makes a freshly cut lawn look like it is holding its breath. The satisfaction here is plain to see: turf even from fence to fence, borders cut back to their proper shape, the driveway blown clean before the truck pulls away. Same yard, same care, week after week.
