Murphy's Turf

About Murphy's Turf

There is a specific green a Lincoln lawn hits in early June, deep and even, holding just long enough to be admired before the valley heat starts making demands. Murphy's Turf works toward that color and works to keep it — mowing at the height the grass actually wants, edging clean, trimming the perimeter, clearing every clipping, and watching for the thin patch or the tired corner before it spreads. Turf is the whole focus, and in a town with this much mown ground that is plenty to think about. Cutting practices shift as the season pushes from spring flush into August stress. The measure of it is a lawn that looks like one continuous surface from curb to back fence.
