FRESHFEEL TURF

About FRESHFEEL TURF

By late August the hills east of town have gone the color of a paper bag, and a green lawn in Lemon Grove is something a household has to want. FRESHFEEL TURF puts the hours in for it: mowing at the right height for the heat, edging the walks, trimming what the mower can't reach, then clearing the cuttings so the blades can breathe. The crew works the shade side of the block first and finishes under a pepper tree with the deck cooling and the sun sliding west toward Point Loma. A lawn cut well in a dry month feels different underfoot — springy, even, cool through socks at dusk. That feeling is the point of the whole trade.
