About Creative Outdoor Environments

Lathrop stands on the San Joaquin River at the southern edge of the Delta, and on summer evenings the whole town seems to exhale when the westerly finally arrives after a day of valley heat. Creative Outdoor Environments shapes yards for that hour, outdoor spaces meant to be stepped into once the sun sinks behind the Altamont hills. Its trade joins landscaping to lawn care: arranging and planting beds, giving green space a clear structure, and keeping the turf short and its borders defined so the yard reads as one composed scene. Lathrop is a growing town, full of young yards with room for something thoughtful just outside the back door. When the porch light clicks on and the grass is cool underfoot, the design earns its keep.
