About Garcia Earthworks, Inc

Under every lawn in this valley there is sand, decomposed granite and a layer of hardpan with no interest in cooperating. Garcia Earthworks, Inc starts from that ground up: what grows here grows because somebody paid attention to it week after week. Mowing on a set rotation, edging where turf meets pavement, trimming the perimeter, clearing the debris away at the end. The result is plain and worth having — an even green rectangle in a country that does not hand them out. Nothing about it is accidental, and that is exactly the appeal.
