About Salco Landscape Services & Growers

Something has to be grown before it can ever be planted, and that is the part most yards never see. Salco Landscape Services & Growers works both sides of it — growing plant material and putting it in the ground, alongside lawn care, bed preparation, mulching, trimming and cleanups across Lakewood properties. Spring on the flat ground toward the Artesia and Cerritos line still carries a memory of what this basin was before the tracts arrived: nursery rows, dairy fields, green running to the horizon in every direction. A plant that comes out of the ground healthy and goes back in at the right depth will forgive a great deal of weather later on. That is the pride in this trade — yards that fill in and keep filling in, long after the truck has pulled away.
