About Holistic Gardening Company

A garden is soil first and everything else second, and in Lakewood that soil is old floodplain ground that will grow almost anything if you feed it. Holistic Gardening Company works yards from the root up — mowing and lawn care, amending and mulching, pruning shrubs, weeding beds, and keeping plantings strong enough to shrug off a bad month. Winter here stays mild and green, and the roots do their real growing in January while nobody is watching. Around Monte Verde Park the yards are older and the shrubs have some history in them, so pruning is as much about respecting an established shape as making a new one. Done patiently, the whole property gets easier to keep, season after season, which is the quiet ambition of every gardener.
