About D1 Junkers

A Lakewood yard cleanup always produces more than anyone expected: the hedge trimmings, the palm fronds, the pile behind the garage that has been waiting for somebody's free Saturday since last spring. D1 Junkers takes the lawn-and-yard end of that — mowing, cutting back overgrowth, clearing brush and green waste, and hauling the whole load away so the ground reads level and open again. On the older blocks near Hardwick Street the lots run deep and the side yards run narrow, which means most of it comes out one armful at a time. The moment worth the sweat is the empty corner afterward, sunlight landing on a patch of dirt that had not seen it in years. What is left behind is a yard somebody can actually use.
