About H&K Landscaping

Toward evening, the granite boulders out along Wildcat Canyon Road turn the color of a ripe peach, and the air finally lets go of the day. H&K Landscaping runs lawn care in that part of Lakeside, where grass has to hold its own against sun, wind off the ridges and soil that would rather grow chaparral. They mow and edge, trim the perimeter, feed the turf on a schedule that matches the heat, and open the ground with aeration so water reaches roots instead of running off. Weeds get handled while they are small. The best sign of the work is a lawn that stays even and deep-colored right up to the last week of summer, when everything above it has gone to straw.
