IRONWOOD TREES

About IRONWOOD TREES

Midsummer in the Sierra foothills is a season of vigilance — grass cured brown, manzanita crackling dry, every homeowner around Lake Wildwood thinking about the space between their trees. IRONWOOD TREES spends those months on exactly that: raising canopies, thinning ladder growth, taking out the gray pine leaning where it shouldn't, opening ground so a property breathes easier. Winter flips the ledger to pruning — cedars and oaks shaped while dormant, crowns balanced before the snow line dips low enough to dust the ridge. Tree work here is equal parts care and consequence, and the finished look is unmistakable: filtered light on a clean understory. From Lake Wildwood to Grass Valley and Nevada City, that light is the point.
