About Mikes gardens

There is a version of Laguna Hills you only see early — dew still on the grass, quiet cul-de-sacs, the coastal overcast holding the light soft until mid-morning. Mikes gardens works those hours, tending yards while the day is cool and the plants are at their easiest. The gardens here are personal-sized: a lawn, a border of color, a few shrubs that want shaping — and each one gets treated like it matters, because to somebody it does. Mowing, weeding, trimming, the small constant attentions that keep a garden a garden. By the time the sun burns through, the morning's work is already showing.
