About Rivera Tree Service, Inc.

Spring comes into La Puente wet and green along the old mission route, magnolias opening on the long-settled streets and everything growing about a foot faster than anyone planned for. That is when Rivera Tree Service, Inc. gets busy with pruning and trimming -- thinning a crown that would otherwise catch the next wind like a sail, lifting branches off a roof, correcting a young tree before bad habits set. It also means the removals, the trees whose roots have started arguing with a driveway, and the cleanup after a March storm leaves a yard heaped with green wood. The valley here runs flat toward Industry and Valinda and stays warm most of the year, so trees put on real size and need real attention. Watching a heavy, lopsided tree come back into balance is the good part of the day.
