About JJL Landscaping inc.

Tuesdays run east through Avocado Heights, where bridle paths still cross the ends of the streets and a horse trailer counts as normal traffic. JJL Landscaping inc. keeps a route like that — same yards, same days, so the grass never gets ahead of anybody. Mow, edge, trim the hedges, blow the walks, load the clippings, next address. It is unglamorous and it is the whole point: a lawn that never looks rescued, because it never needed rescuing. The week covers La Puente, Avocado Heights, Bassett and the streets nearby.
