About Humble Starts

Collier Park still holds the spring that gave this town its first reason to exist, water rising under the cottonwoods a few blocks off the boulevard. Humble Starts works the streets around there on the same plain idea: keep grass fed, cut, and even, and let a yard grow into itself. A first visit is usually mowing, edging, and an unhurried weeding; by the third or fourth the lawn has a color it didn't have before. Shrubs get trimmed back to let light down onto the turf, and everything cut is carried off the property. Small beginnings, tended weekly, add up faster than most people expect.
