About Citywide Tree Landcare Inc.

The lawn at Portola Park takes a beating all week and still comes back green, which is a fair description of what most people want from their own yard. Citywide Tree Landcare Inc. works the blocks around it — cutting, edging, trimming hedges off the fence line, pulling weeds before they seed, and clearing every last cutting from the drive. Their year gets measured in routes rather than in openings and closings, because in this valley there is no month that lets a mower sit. After a February rain the grass comes up fast enough that one week feels like two, and that is when the schedule proves itself. What the work leaves behind is simple and worth having: a level cut, a hard edge, a yard that looks finished.
