About Wheeler's Landscaping

By October the vineyards in the Red Hills above Kelseyville go copper and rust, and the evenings arrive earlier over the valley floor. Wheeler's Landscaping likes to finish a yard just as that light does — the last pass of the mower catching low sun, borders squared, the whole lawn laid down in even rows. They carry yards through the full Lake County year: the growth surge of April, the brown-out threat of high summer, the leaf drop of fall. It is unglamorous, satisfying work, and around town you can pick out their lawns by the way they hold their shape.
