Wilson Greens Turf

About Wilson Greens Turf

Down where the Santa Ana River trail runs toward the sand, October dawns come with just enough dew to hold a mower's track, and Wilson Greens Turf likes to be out in it early. Cut in alternating passes, a lawn takes light in two directions and shows its stripes, pale and dark, all the way to the property line. That is the pleasure of turf done right: even color, an edge crisp enough to run a finger along, and a surface flat and springy underfoot. The rest is upkeep — trimming, clearing, and returning often enough that the grass never has to recover from anything. By the time the town is fully awake, the yard is already at its best.
