About Rolando Landscaping Services

For a few weeks in May the jacarandas along Goldenwest let go all at once and the sidewalks turn purple, which is beautiful until it is your driveway. Rolando Landscaping Services runs the route through it anyway — mow, edge, trim, blow, and take the blossom drift with them when they go. Mid-morning is the working hour, warm but not yet hot, the streets empty and the sprinklers long since shut off. Each yard gets the same steady sequence, so the neighborhood keeps a kind of rhythm to it, block after block coming up sharp. It is unhurried work, repeated well, and Huntington Beach wears it nicely.
