About Mow and Hammer

Winter is the slow stretch of the year. Growth eases off, the beds go quiet, and the work changes shape for a while. Mow and Hammer uses that stretch for the unglamorous work — cutting back, cleaning fence lines, clearing beds and hauling brush — so the first warm week of March finds the yard already ready. When the grass wakes up, the mowing, edging and trimming start again on a steady weekly rhythm. Huntington Beach is home base, with work reaching into the nearby towns.
