Bergman Landscape

About Bergman Landscape

For a few weeks in late February, the orchards around Hilmar turn white with almond bloom, and petals drift over the fences like the snow this valley never gets. Bergman Landscape works the rest of the calendar so that a home's own ground can hold up to that show — planting beds shaped and weeded, shrubs kept in proportion, lawns cut clean. The flat land here gives a yard nowhere to hide; every line reads from the road. That is the pleasure of the work: a bed that holds its shape through the long dry months, green kept deliberate against the valley's gold. Bergman serves Hilmar along with Stevinson, Delhi, and the Turlock area.
