About SD & Sons Landscaping

Late November in Highland is the long exhale — the sycamores and liquidambars finally let go, and every lawn from Sterling Avenue west collects somebody else's leaves. SD & Sons Landscaping runs its route straight through it, mowing what is still growing, edging the walks, raking and blowing the yards back to open green. The valley never really freezes, so the grass keeps a slow rhythm all winter and the work never fully stops. Clean corners, a defined edge, a lawn with nothing lying on it: that is the entire ambition, repeated street after street. It holds until the next wind sends another round down, and then they come back around.
