About Efren's Design Gardening

For a couple of weeks in June the jacarandas let go all at once and half of Highland is walking on purple. Efren's Design Gardening works through that bloom and well past it, mowing and edging lawns, shaping the beds that frame them, keeping the border honest where planting meets grass. A yard is a composition in this town: the turf is the open ground, and everything else gets placed against it. The crew trims the margins, gathers the cuttings, and runs the edge so the shape you meant is the shape you see from the sidewalk. With San Bernardino Peak holding the skyline east of town, there is never any shortage of ideas about what a good line looks like.
